The Arkansas Unit is led by David Krementz who oversees Unit operations. Dan Magoulick is the Assistant Unit Leader – Fisheries, and Diane Moler is the administrative assistant for Unit activities.
Drs. Krementz and Magoulick hold research faculty rank at the University of Arkansas, conduct research projects, mentor graduate students and teach graduate level courses. Research projects usually support graduate students and post-docs and address a variety of topics ranging from the invasive crayfish ecology in the Spring River to understanding waterfowl harvest in Arkansas. Research funds for the Arkansas Unit come from a variety of sources including USFWS, AGFC, Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC), USFS, and USGS.
The Fullbright College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville is the home of the Arkansas Unit. Unit offices are currently located on the 5th floor of the Science and Engineering Building.
