The California Unit is led by Dr. Walter Duffy as Unit Leader since 1997. Dr. Margaret (Peggy) Wilzbach serves as the Assistant Unit Leader and Leslie Farrar provides administrative support for Unit activities.
Drs. Duffy and Wilzbach are members of Humboldt State University and hold graduate faculty appointments. They each teach one graduate course per year and support graduate students through research topics on a wide variety of fisheries and wildlife topics.
The College of Natural Resources and Sciences at Humboldt State University is the home of the California Unit. We are located in the Fisheries and Wildlife Building.

Dr. Duffy has been leader of the California Unit since 1997. He is active in fisheries and watershed restoration ecology.
