I came to the Georgia Unit in 1994 as the Assistant Unit Leader Fisheries and have been the Unit Leader since 1997. Prior to Georgia, I was a research fisheries biologist at the U.S. Geological Survey's Upper Mississippi Science Center from 1987 to 1994.

I am Assistant Unit Leader (Wildlife) at the Georgia Unit. I previously worked as a research scientist with the USGS Patuxent Wildlife Research Center, and before that, as a statistician for the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, the National Biological Service, and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. I received degrees from University of Georgia (BSFR and PhD) and N.C. State University (M. Stat.).

Prior to this position, I was a research coordinator at the Georgia Coop Unit, a research biologist for the Georgia Department of Natural Resources and a research biologist for the Alaska Department of Fish and Game.
