I grew up in Maryland, attending Salisbury University to pursue my B.S. in Biology, before moving on to other realms of the United States. I traveled frequently throughout the U.S. after completion of my degree, gaining varied experience in biological jobs. An array of wildlife research technician positions led me to pursue my own research as a Master's candidate in the North Carolina Cooperative Fish and Wildlife Research Unit and Biology Department at North Carolina State University.
