South Carolina Education Activities

Unit Scientists teach courses at the graduate level that are responsive to the needs of graduate students in the School of Agriculture, Forestry, and Environmental Sciences, although students in other departments such as Biological Sciences and Parks, Recreation and Tourism Management also take these courses. The SC Unit also organzes and facilitates a weekly seminar series that focuses on management and conservation of natural resources and scientists in teh SC Unit are regular contributors and participants in the inter-departmental Ecology Reading Group.

Recent courses taught include Foundations of Ecology, Ecological Energetics, Wildlife Habitat Associations, and Wildlife Disease and Health.
