  • Physical Processes in Freshwater Ecosystems Students will develop a broad understanding of physical processes that inform and maintain freshwater habitats: fluvial and lake geomorphology, hydrology and environmental flows, thermal and disturbance regimes, habitat classification and sampling, and human impacts and process-based restoration.
