2017 Survey of King Rails in Arkansas Delta

Narrative

The population status of king rails in the Arkansas Delta is presently unknown. I initiated a pilot survey at sites where king rails were previously documented in the Arkansas Delta using call-back survey methods. I surveyed during April, May and June at 23 distinct wetlands and detected no king rails.
