Effects of thermal tolerance limits on the distribution of southwest native fishes

This is a joint research project with the Arizona Cooperative Fish and Wildlife Research Unit (Dr. Scott Bonar). The reserach is underway in Dr. Bonar’s thermal testing facility at the University of Arizona. Funding was obtained from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Southwest Region for Climate Change to conduct a thorough review of historical and current thermal data for two important watersheds in New Mexico, Comanche Creek and the Pecos River. Further funding was obtained from T&E, Inc to purchase additional dataloggers.
