Keystone Field to Market Initiative

Duration

January 2011 - December 2012

Narrative

This is a pilot project to define a biodiversity sustainability metric for commercially grown corn, wheat, cotton, and soy crops in the Southeast. This project is funded by the Field to Market project, Keystone Alliance for Sustainable Agriculture (http://www.fieldtomarket.org/) and The Nature
Conservancy. This project will serve as a proof of concept to explore the use of a biodiversity metric which can inform producers about the possible influence their practices may have on species within and around agricultural fields.
