Biography

I am a non-traditional graduate student with a 25-year career with the State of Maine DMR working with Atlantic salmon. My goal is to acquire new tools for my job. In my spare time, I ride my bike, build boats, play music with my family and umpire high school baseball games.

Research Interests

My research will be focused on dispersal of post-emergent juvenile Atlantic salmon related to habitat quality. I hope to take this information to better use and distribute fish during stocking efforts. I will also develop a toolset that can be used to maximize good habitats and to identify reaches we may be able change to be more suitable for rearing Atlantic salmon.
