Education

  • BS SUNY Potsdam 2017

Biography

After receiving my Bachelor of Science from SUNY Potsdam in 2013, I studied a diverse native freshwater community in a small stretch of river in northern New York. Working with mussels first as a technician for a private environmental consulting firm and then with the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, I found a passion for unionids. In the fall of 2018, I started my Master's research at the Department of Environmental Conservation under Dr. Allison Roy.

Research Interests

Focused on the propagation of Alasmidonta heterodon (dwarf wedgemussel) at the Richard Cronin Aquatic Research Center in Amherst, MA
