Evaluating occupancy estimation and abundance relationships as an alternative method for ungulate abundance surveys

Narrative

Project will test a camera-based occupancy estimation method that exploits the steep side of the occupancy-abundance relationship to estimate ungulate abundance. Critical components of grid cell size, habitat relationships and camera distribution will be examined.
