Keystone Field to Market Initiative


January 2011 - December 2012


This is a pilot project to define a biodiversity sustainability metric for commercially grown corn, wheat, cotton, and soy crops in the Southeast. This project is funded by the Field to Market project, Keystone Alliance for Sustainable Agriculture ( and The Nature
Conservancy. This project will serve as a proof of concept to explore the use of a biodiversity metric which can inform producers about the possible influence their practices may have on species within and around agricultural fields.
