Technical Assistance

As part of our mission, each of the Cooperative Fish and Wildlife Research Unit scientists routinely provides technical assistance ranging from data analysis support, GIS mapping, workshops, and consultations on a variety of natural resource issues.

  • Jim PetersonReview panel Environmental Impact Statement for the Long-Term Plan for Protecting Adult Salmon in the Lower Klamath River (July 2016 - September 2016)
  • Jim PetersonI assisted ODFW, USDA Forest Service, and US Bureau of Land Management develop the study design for eastimating the abundance and distribution of endangered Umpqua Chub. (May 2016 - Present)
  • Katie DuggerI held a 2-day introduction to the use of Program MARK to estimate wildlife vital rates for Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife biologists (10 participants). Format included ½ day of lecture and background material and 1.5 days of working directly with example data sets in Program MARK. (September 2012 - September 2012)
